GGCA will be closed from Sept. 23rd - Sept. 26th
Thank you for your interest in scheduling with Greater Good Community Acupuncture. Please review the information below before attending your first appointment.
Visit our scheduling page here to schedule online, or you may schedule by phone/text (719-223-9935) or Email (info@greatergoodacupuncture.org). The sliding scale for your initial appointment is $35-$55.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please give a 24-hour notice to avoid a $25 cancellation fee (a cancellation fee will not be charged for emergencies or illness).
Your New Patient Paperwork may be completed online, printed and completed at home, or completed in-person at your first appointment.
At your first treatment we will conduct a brief intake to review your primary reason for seeking acupuncture and any pertinent health history you have shared. Usually this takes about 5-10 minutes. Your acupuncturist will orient you to the treatment space and clinic norms before moving on to your treatment. Once the needles are placed you are able to rest with the needles in for up to 1 hour. The length of the treatment is your choice, however, we recommend relaxing for at least 30 minutes for the treatment to have the greatest impact. During your treatment your acupuncturist will be close at hand to provide any support you may need.
Before your first treatment, please keep the following in mind:
Having a light snack or meal before a treatment is helpful.
Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing, so we can access your lower legs and arms.
Expect your first treatment to last an hour to an hour an 15 minutes.
Please read the Clinic Norms section below to understand how we operate in a community setting.

Speak at a low volume or whisper.
Shoes remain on in the clinic until seated.
